Alternate #1 consists of replacing the existing secondary loop pumps, the air/dirt separator, and the existing expansion tank for the chilled water loop, alternate #2 consists of replacing the underground piping between the mechanical yard and the boiler room. Pipe replacement will require trenching, pipe removal and replacement, backfill, and surface repair.
