This project will install alternate utility connection points at the Lake Nona VA Central Energy Plant (CEP) to support the operation of temporary mechanical equipment, including a mobile boiler, temporary chiller, temporary cooling tower, and all required ancillary equipment. The connection points will allow the facility to maintain continuous operations during outages, maintenance, or emergencies through “plug-and-play” integration of temporary mechanical equipment. The procurement is a Bid-Build construction project (estimated $1,000,000–$3,000,000), set aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), with a period of performance of 448 calendar days from NTP. Repaving parking lot k and other failing road sections: the primary focus shall be on parking lot k. Additionally, there shall be a site investigation to identify other failing sections of parking lots and roads, with recommendations provided for necessary repairs. Replacing/repairing collapsing storm water collection system: the storm water system parking lot a and b is showing signs of damage and deterioration. The top surface of the parking lot collapses along the path of the storm water system. Build gazebo at domiciliary: construct a gazebo or covered area at the southeast corner of the domiciliary. There is an existing concrete pad in this location that is currently not covered. The new gazebo or structure shall provide coverage of the entire pad. See attached files.
