BRIDGE REPAIRS AND PRESERVATION RFP

Description: The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) Highway Division has advertised for construction bids a contract to perform maintenance and preservation of municipal bridges at multiple locations in MassDOT District 2 (Belchertown, Hampden, Monson, South Hadley, and Southwick). The project, designated as D2 Contract 2 (MassDOT Project No. 616302), includes bridge preservation work at municipal-owned bridge locations across these Western Massachusetts towns, with an estimated total contract cost of $2,493,085.15. The project is funded entirely by the Commonwealth (no federal aid) and is targeted to begin construction in Autumn 2026 following the August 11, 2026 bid opening.
