Backwash Water Recycle Project

Description: The Boothbay Region Water District is soliciting construction work for a water and sewer project in Boothbay, Maine. The scope includes a sedimentation/equalization tank, sludge drying beds with recycle return, pumps and piping, controls, chemical injection, and electrical and SCADA upgrades for backwash-water recycling; a 5% bid bond and performance and payment bonds are required. Bids are scheduled for October 7, 2026, and questions are due September 30, 2026, to the project manager at Dirigo Engineering.
