B--USGS Paired Bulk Mineralogy/Clay Analyses

Description: The U.S. Geological Survey seeks paired bulk mineralogy and detailed clay analyses using X-ray diffraction on 58 bulk samples and 58 clay-fraction samples. The work includes sample preparation, X-ray diffraction measurement, data interpretation, and reporting of the results and methods. The analyses will support assessment of the relationship between clay mineral species and porosity, with data due no later than two months after sample receipt.
