B--NEW IDIQ FOR PFAS ANALYSIS

Description: The U.S. Geological Survey posted a Special Notice of its intent to issue a sole-source, noncompetitive firm-fixed-price purchase order; the notice is a contract opportunity, not a grant program, and says it is not a request for competitive proposals. The contemplated five-year IDIQ would have SGS AXYS Analytical Services, LTD analyze tissue, water, sediment, and soil samples for PFAS contamination for the Eastern Ecological Science Center in Laurel, Maryland. USGS identifies SGS AXYS as uniquely qualified because of its established PFAS capabilities and compatibility with ongoing USGS PFAS research programs, and invites written capability responses by the stated deadline.
