B. Everett Jordan Concrete Pad Installation - (Request for Quotation)

Description: Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install a 24’-10” x 34’-4” concrete pad with column foundations for a prefabricated shelter. Site Preparation & Earthwork: Excavation: The site is a former construction staging area with soil consisting of heavily compacted mineral and rocky fill. The contractor shall utilize appropriate excavation equipment to remove all organic and inorganic material from the proposed slab area. Excavated material shall be removed and disposed of offsite at an approved facility. The contractor is highly encouraged to use excavation/ground protection matting to protect the existing turf in the park facility. If any damage occurs to property, it will be repaired by the contractor at the contractor’s expense as described in Section 1.9 – Damage Responsibility. Excavated area shall be compacted to 95% Proctor density with a heavy mechanical plate compactor prior to subbase installation. See attached file.
