Description: Ramsey County seeks a qualified financial professional to provide annual accounting support for GASB 87/96 compliance and general financial-statement preparation, supplementing Finance Department staff during peak periods, vacancies, and special projects. The contractor will perform GASB 87/96 accounting tasks, prepare and support county financial statements, and provide analytical and compliance assistance under Finance Department leadership. Services are provided as needed during the contract term, with emphasis on governmental-accounting expertise and timely, accurate reporting.

Asset management, reporting, and reconciliation support: The Contractor shall provide asset accounting, reporting, and reconciliation support for all Property, Plant and Equipment (PP&E) to include, Real Property, Equipment, Internal Use Software (IUS). Contractor Acquired Property (CAP)/Government Furnished Property (GFP). Leases, and Work in Progress (WIP)/CIP as applicable to DIA financial accounting and reporting requirements. Asset Records Maintenance: The Contractor shall support maintenance of accurate and complcte accounting records for capital assets, including but not limited to: Real property, including land, buildings, structures facilities, and improvements.
