PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project re-purposes and expands the existing 21,000 square foot new technical high school into a consolidated elementary school that will serve 700 students from across warren county.
Approximately 84,000 square feet of new building will be added to the slightly renovated new tech building. The new building entry and lobby are located at the joint where old and new meet allowing for separated vehicular circulation between carpool and bus riders while maintaining a central entry point. The addition is broken down into quadrants or "neighborhoods" that encircle a central courtyard. Interior learning commons and exterior play areas are dispersed so that they are integral to the grade levels they are intended to serve.
Sealed bids from licensed contractors will be received on Thursday November 12, 2026, for all Packages for furnishing of labor, material, and equipment for the Warren County New Elementary School project. Bids will be received until 1:00 PM on bid day from pre-qualified subcontractors. Bids will be publicly opened at 1:00 pm on bid day at Warren County School 219 US-158 BYPASS Warrenton, NC 27589. Parking and Exact Location will be issued in a later addendum.
• Issue For Bid (IFB) Drawings will be published in Building Connected and access will be provided per request on 10/13/26.
• Last Day to submit pre-qualification forms: 10/23/26
• Pre-bid meeting 10/23/26 at 10:00am Warren County School 219 US-158 BYPASS Warrenton, NC 27589. Parking and Exact Location will be issued in a later addendum. MEETING WILL BE VIRTUAL ONLY - an invite to Tour the Site will be scheduled at a later date.
• Questions/RFIs last day is 10/29/26 (Utilize Pre-Bid RFI Form found in RFI Folder on Building Connected for all Questions/RFI's)

Bid Submission:
Option 1 - Bids may be mailed to LeChase Construction 320 Roney St, Suite 100, Durham NC, 27701. Mailed bids must be received by 10:00 am on November 12, 2026, for Bid Package.
Option 2 - Bids may be hand-delivered at the bid opening prior to 1:00 pm at Warren County School 219 US-158 BYPASS Warrenton, NC 27589. Parking and Exact Location will be issued in a later addendum. No bids will be accepted after 1:00pm on November 12, 2026.
