Affordable Housing Counsel, shall include: Representing the Borough in all judicial and administrative proceedings involving affordable housing matters, such as builder's remedy litigation, in which the Borough of any of its officers or agencies may be a party or have an interest; Filing lawsuits and defending same on behalf of the Borough as assigned by the Mayor and Council; Preparing reports and providing advice and counsel to the Mayor and Council regarding matters that arise, including but not limited to: affordable housing matters; interacting with the Borough’s insurance carrier regarding liability issues when requested by the Mayor and Council; replying to inquiries from residents and/or commercial enterprises; and when requested by the Mayor and Council, working in cooperation with other Borough Professionals, as needed, in the preparation and/or revision of the Borough’s Fair Share Plan; ordinance(s)related to affordable housing obligations and requirements; and attending meetings as requested by the Mayor and Council.
