'A' Street Corridor Safety Improvements HSIPSP-5198(029) CIP S146

Description: Furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and incidentals as required by the Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents. The general items of work include, but not limited to, removal and replacement of minor concrete items such as ADA curb ramps, sidewalk, curb and gutter, the cold planning and overlaying asphalt concrete, signing and striping, and the installation of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB’s). The entire bid packet must be completed in full and submitted as part of the proposal documents, including the Schedule of Bid Items, bid forms, and all required attachments. A bid is evaluated on the information contained in the submitted bid packet. The electronic bid items entered on PlanetBids are provided for administrative convenience and bid tabulation only. Where there is any discrepancy, omission, or conflict between the submitted bid packet and the electronic bid items on PlanetBids, the information in the submitted bid packet takes precedence and governs bid evaluation and award. Pursuant to Sec. 7028.15 of the Business and Professions Code and Section 3300 of the Public Works Contract Code, all bidders shall possess a State Contractor's License, Class A, General Engineering at the time of contract award. An electronic copy of the bid bond is sufficient for bid submission. The original bond shall be requested from the successful bidder prior to contract award.
