6th Street Water Main Replacement Project

Work generally consists of installation of approx 1160 LF of 8" pvc water main in pavement by open cut; installation of nine (9) 8" gate valves; installation of three (3) fire hydrant assemblies; five (5) connections of installed water main to existing water mains; re-establishment of approx twenty-two (22) 3/4" service connections; 500 SY of roadway pavement restoration; add alternate #1 includes roadway full-width asphalt 1 mill & overlay.

Installation of approximately 2,505 linear feet of new water main and associated valves, services, meters, fire hydrants and fittings. The project also includes other items incidental to the infrastructure replacement, such as: sediment & erosion control; disposal of materials removed; maintenance of traffic, and restoration of disturbed areas including driveways, curb and gutter, pavement, site restoration and other related items as identified in the Contract Documents.
