The County of San Mateo is soliciting proposals for an Interface Engine (V6.2026) — a web-based SaaS integration engine to enable secure data exchange among Electronic Health Records (EHR) and other third-party applications and to replace the county's current NextGen Connect integration engine. The RFP requires vendors to provide a subscription to an Integration Engine application, support import/export of message types, modern APIs, Active Directory user management, a FHIR data repository, and implementation experience with California Safety Net public hospitals using Epic; vendors must be registered in SAM and accept County contract/insurance requirements. Proposals are due August 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM Pacific Time; the project term is three years with an option for an additional two-year extension and an anticipated award date of December 8, 2026.
