58--Transponding Acoustic Release Receivers

Description: USGS issued a Special Notice of Intent to solicit from a single source for 32 Transponding Acoustic Release Receivers from Innovasea Marine Systems Canada Inc. The receivers must support subsurface deployment to at least 100 meters, compatibility with existing fish-tag identification codes and the worldwide OTN network, operation in noisy acoustic environments, and release through existing VR-100-300 mobile units. Although the notice is not a competitive solicitation, responsible parties may submit responses by email no later than September 8, 2026, at 0900 PDT, and the purchase order will follow FAR Part 12 commercial-item procedures.
