26-0242 - GLENBROOK COMBINED SEWER OVERFLOW GATE REPLACEMENT

Description: The RFP invites proponents to replace an existing corroded Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) diversion gate in the Glenbrook Diversion Chamber at Glenbrook Ravine Park in the City of New Westminster. A permanent gravity sewer bypass system was designed and constructed to divert live sewer flows while the existing gate is removed and the acquired new gate is installed. Unforeseen site conditions prevented completion of the replacement, so the Corporation is seeking an alternative solution to isolate the chamber and install and commission the new gate.
