Request for Qualifications for Design/Engineering of the US-422 Watermain Loop Improvement Project
The City of Niles, Ohio is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from engineering consultants to provide design, permitting, and bidding services for the US-422 Watermain Loop Improvement Project. The proposed project consists of constructing a new water main crossing beneath Mosquito Creek and US 422 using trenchless methods, primarily Horizontal Directional Drilling beneath Mosquito Creek and jack-and-bore beneath US 422. Submissions must comply with Section (D) of Ohio Revised Code 153.65, and sealed proposals are due to the City Auditor at 34 W State Street, Niles, OH 44446 by 10:00 a.m. on August 12, 2026.
