2026 Legal Services-Labor Counsel (Request For Qualifications)

Orange Township Police Department

Township is seeking legal support for a law firm with substantial experience in Labor and Employment Law. Among the areas of legal representation sought by the City are negotiation of labor contracts, e) prosecution of employee disciplinary charges, 3) defense of the City in employment discrimination lawsuits, and 4) providing legal advice on issues concerning labor and employment law. Counsel will have a close working relationship with the City’s Law Department.

Seeking legal support for a law firm with substantial in Redevelopment Project. Redevelopment Counsel Services will have a close working relationship with the Law Department, the Department of Administration, and the City's Chief Financial Officer. Redevelopment Counsel Services shall include, but not limited to: 1. On an as needed basis, prepares, reviews and opines on Redevelopment ordinances related to capital projects; 2. Counsel may be called upon to attend meetings 3. Counsel may also be called upon to provide other types of legal services of a specialized nature.
