Description: Invitation for Bid 2026-IFB- VIHFA Lagoon Complex Janitorial Services (St. Croix) The Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority (VIHFA) hereby invites sealed bids from qualified, experienced, and properly licensed contractors authorized to conduct business in the U.S. Virgin Islands to provide comprehensive janitorial services at the VIHFA Lagoon Complex, Buildings 1 & 2, Plot B Lagoon Complex, Frederiksted, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. The successful Contractor shall furnish all managerial, administrative, supervisory, and direct labor personnel necessary to perform the required janitorial services and maintain the designated areas in a clean, sanitary, orderly, and professional condition. Janitorial Services STX Services shall be performed throughout designated areas of Buildings 1 & 2, including offices, restrooms, hallways, work areas, entryways, lobbies, storage areas, elevators, stairways, kitchens and breakrooms, and other common areas located on the upper and lower levels of the buildings. Janitorial Services STX The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, general office cleaning; trash removal; dusting and cleaning of furniture and office equipment; sweeping and mopping of floors; cleaning glass and stainless-steel surfaces; cleaning and sanitizing kitchens, breakrooms, and restrooms; organizing janitorial storage areas; exterior walkway cleaning; replenishment of restroom supplies; and completion of required daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning activities. Quarterly services include exterior window cleaning, sanitation of the trash holding area, stripping, polishing and waxing hard-surface floors, and carpet shampooing as needed. Janitorial Services STX Janitorial Services STX The resulting contract shall be for a period of two (2) years from the date of contract award, with one (1) option to renew for an additional one-year period, subject to satisfactory performance and the terms of the resulting contract. Janitorial Services STX The successful Contractor shall maintain all licenses, registrations, insurance, and other documentation required to conduct business and perform the services in the U.S. Virgin Islands and shall provide properly trained and equipped personnel throughout the contract term.
