The City of Washougal Public Works Department is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to develop a Stormwater Enhanced Maintenance Plan (EMP). The work is funded in part by the Washington State Department of Ecology’s Stormwater Financial Assistance Program and must comply with state and federal grant requirements. The EMP will evaluate current maintenance programs and develop enhanced strategies to reduce stormwater impacts and improve water quality.

The project will include the following major items of work including but not limited to obtaining permits, mobilization, implementation of initial, interim, and final erosion control measures, stormwater diversion around the construction areas, excavation, removal and disposal of accumulated sediment, removal and disposal of rip rap and other excavated materials not intended for reuse, channel regrading, installation of channel stabilization material including rip rap and grouted boulders, revegetation, and other site restoration.
