Description: The work generally consists of furnishing and installation of water system piping, fittings, valves, hydrants, services, connections, disconnections, and appurtenances for potable water. Installation will consist approx. of 1,500 LF of 4" PVC SDR 21 water main along the design route as shown on the plans. This work also includes surface restoration with various pavements, curbing, and sidewalks. This work shall include all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, transportation, equipment, and services necessary and required to perform the project as set forth in the Contract Documents. WTP Controls and SCADA Replacement The work generally consists of furnishing and installation of controls and communication system within the existing Water Treatment Plant. The city would like to update the entire control panel. Upgrades would also include upgrading to cellular communication for easier monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and to have remote support. The new system would also include a new programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and pressure monitoring controls. An HMI screen, a new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), and replacing the VFDS at the existing pumps are also all parts of the new control upgrades.
