Description: The Las Vegas Valley Water District is soliciting an Invitation for Bid for replacement of evaporative cooling systems at the Las Vegas Springs Preserve. The work covers the Origen Museum and Desert Living Center buildings and includes new air-cooled chilled-water/hot-water heat-pump equipment, with an engineer’s estimate of $4,493,742. The National Park Service intends to issue an Invitation for Bid for the replacement of a 60-ton air-cooled condenser and related cooling system components at the First Ladies National Historic Site in Canton, Ohio. This project is a 100% set-aside for Women-Owned Small Businesses with an estimated value between $500,000 and $750,000. Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC (BEA), the Management and Operating Contractor for the U.S. Department of Energy's Idaho National Laboratory (INL), is issuing this Sources Sought notice seeking qualified vendors capable of designing, manufacturing, testing, and delivering four 20-inch, 300-lb tilting-disc check valves for the Advanced Test Reactor (ATR) cooling system. The valves must meet stringent ASME Section III, Division 1, Class 1 requirements, be constructed of ASTM A182 F304 or ASTM A351 CF8 stainless steel, and include integrated hydraulic dashpot mechanisms and position indicators. Responses from qualified vendors will inform a future Request for Proposal (RFP) process for award consideration.
