This Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) formalizes the inclusion of District Safety and Security Officers (SSOs) into the SEIU Local 925 bargaining unit, amending the existing Collective Bargaining Agreement between Issaquah School District No. 411 and the Union. Effective September 1, 2024, to August 31, 2027, the MOA details new and revised provisions concerning SSOs' job responsibilities, required training, technology, uniform provisions, work calendars, vacation, premium pay rates (including a $5,000 annual stipend for RBT certification), and a comprehensive new article (Article 22) governing their assignments, duties, seniority, deployment, and employment terms such as layoff and recall.
