About this conference
The YMCA Youth Conference on National Affairs brings together students from State Youth and Government programs for a week of intensive debate to propose and discuss well-defined and accurate solutions to society's challenging needs. Started in 1968, it aims to increase awareness of national and international concerns and issues, enhance understanding of Federal Government and its relation to State, National, and International matters, and provide a means for communicating concerns about National Affairs to appropriate groups at Federal Government levels. Young people from thirty-three states and the District of Columbia participated previously.
Sponsorship options
Contributions to the National Affairs Annual Support Campaign provide scholarships for participants, underwrite registration fees, and contribute to the CONA Endowment Fund.
