Vector Week 2026

A biennial grantee and recipient meeting hosted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), specifically by the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases (NCEZID) and the Division of Vector-Borne Diseases (DVBD). The conference aims to bring together approximately 400 attendees, including grantees and recipients from over 60 states, territories, and large municipalities, to share the most up-to-date information on vector-borne diseases. The event supports recipients in building sustainable, locally relevant programs to identify, prevent, and respond to vector-borne diseases in the areas of epidemiology, laboratory, and ecology. It also provides a forum for CDC-supported university-based Regional Centers of Excellence (CoE) and Training and Evaluation Centers (TEC) to share translational evaluation, research, and program accomplishments to benefit jurisdiction programs.
