U.S. Legislative Conference

Every year, the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) U.S. Legislative Conference brings fire fighters and emergency medical workers together to advocate for their rights and interests. This event focuses on informing attendees about the current legislative agenda, facilitating networking among IAFF members and leaders, and arranging visits to Congressional offices. Participants will learn about IAFF priority legislation and engage directly with legislators and their staff on critical issues impacting fire fighters’ jobs, health, safety, retirement, and economic security. The Alfred K. Whitehead Legislative Conference serves as a cornerstone of the IAFF’s legislative efforts.
