About this conference
This event celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Tribal Supreme Court Project, a joint initiative of the Native American Rights Fund and the National Congress of American Indians. It features a Thursday evening reception at the National Museum of the American Indian and a Friday legal colloquium at the Eaton DC hotel. The colloquium will bring together esteemed professors, judges, and practitioners to discuss the current state of Indian law jurisprudence, emerging legal issues, and Supreme Court practice and strategy. The celebration aims to recognize the project's impact in defending Tribal sovereignty and planning for future work on behalf of Tribal justice, bringing together Tribal leaders, U.S. elected officials, and leading legal experts.
