About this conference

The American Legion 107th National Convention is the organization's largest annual gathering, uniting members of The American Legion Family to shape the future of the nation's largest veterans service organization. Delegates convene to approve changes to the Legion’s constitution and bylaws, pass programs that guide the organization’s direction, set membership dues, and elect national leadership. Beyond its critical role in organizational governance, the convention includes separate events for the American Legion Auxiliary, Sons of The American Legion, and the finish of the American Legion Riders Legacy Run. Other significant elements feature a Legion Family event, patriotic memorial service, exhibits, general sessions with nationally acclaimed keynote speakers, color guard and band contests, receptions, and banquets. The convention serves to further the cause of patriotism and support for servicemembers past and present.
