Texas Conference for Employers - Texarkana 2026

The Texas Workforce Commission's (TWC) Office of the Commissioner Representing Employers sponsors the Texas Conference for Employers, a series of employer seminars held each year throughout the state. At these seminars, employers can learn about Texas and federal employment laws and the unemployment claims and appeals process. Experienced speakers explain important issues for Texas businesses and answer questions. Attendees can also earn education credits, network with their peers, and speak with employment attorneys. The conference series empowers small, medium, and large employers to boost their business legally, ethically, and responsibly. Topics covered typically include Texas employment law and hiring legally, federal and Texas wage and hour law, unemployment claims and appeals, independent contractors, employee policy handbooks, drug testing, workplace privacy issues, background checks, and social media.
