Sunstone CSU Startup Launch

The Sunstone CSU Startup Launch Competition is the premier CSU-wide startup competition, open exclusively to participants affiliated with the 23 California State University campuses. The 2026 event will be hosted by the Center for Social and Technology Entrepreneurship at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) on May 7th-8th, providing a platform for CSU students and recent alumni to pitch innovative startup ideas, network with industry professionals, and compete for $200,000 in seed funding! Applications are due Sunday, March 29th, 2026. The competition supports early-stage ventures across diverse industries, emphasizing scalability, innovation, and societal impact. Teams present their ventures in a structured format, evaluated by a panel of judges comprising entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and business leaders.
