Summer Leadership Summit

The Summer Leadership Summit is an annual, weeklong professional learning event designed to equip leaders with the tools necessary to empower and inspire stakeholders, develop a shared vision, and lead change. It provides opportunities to build relationships through collaboration, share leadership actions and best practices, and sets the stage for leading the continuous improvement process at the school level aligned to regional, district, and DoWEA initiatives, priorities, and mission. The summit unites regional directors for student excellence, superintendents, principals, assistant principals, chiefs of staff, and other headquarters leaders to discuss strategies for enhancing student success, focusing on resilience-building skills like financial literacy and internships, and delivering professional development for seamless school transitions.
