About this conference
The Nevada Department of Education, in collaboration with Clark County School District, Washoe County School District, State Public Charter School Authority, and the Nevada Office of Emergency Management, will be hosting two one-day conferences. One conference will be held in northern Nevada (October 12, 2026) and one in southern Nevada (November 3, 2026). The conference focuses on building safer schools through collaboration, innovation, and student well-being. Key topics include School Safety & Emergency Preparedness, Student Mental Health & Wellness, Effective & Responsible Use of Technology, and Cross-Agency Collaboration & Best Practices. This annual event, mandated by Nevada Revised Statute (NRS) 388.265, provides essential training, collaboration, and professional development opportunities at no cost to attendees, bringing together educators, administrators, school resource officers, emergency managers, public safety professionals, mental health partners, and community stakeholders from across the state to strengthen school safety and preparedness.
Sponsorship options
Sponsorship opportunities are available across several tiers, including Vendor Table ($0), Bronze Sponsor ($1,000), Silver Sponsor ($2,500), and Gold Sponsor ($5,000). These tiers offer benefits such as logo placement on the conference website, recognition in the conference program, signage, presentation slides, post-conference communications, and the inclusion of promotional items in attendee materials. Higher tiers provide enhanced recognition, more prominent logo placements, full-page recognition in the program, and opportunities for brief sponsor remarks during opening or closing sessions. Additionally, event-specific sponsorship opportunities are offered, including Coffee, Tea & Water Service Sponsor ($1,000 - $3,000), Mid-Morning Break Sponsor ($1,000 - $3,000), and Lunch Sponsor ($5,000 - $15,000). These event sponsorships offer recognition associated with specific conference functions. Sponsorships directly support the statewide effort by helping to offset conference expenses and ensuring participants can access high-quality training and resources free of charge. Sponsoring organizations gain significant visibility among Nevada's education and public safety leaders and demonstrate their commitment to student and school safety.
