About this conference

The Spring Conference on Correctional Health Care offers unparalleled education and professional development opportunities for clinicians, administrators, and custody professionals within the correctional system. Attendees will gain practical, actionable knowledge from over 60 sessions and seven preconference seminars covering topics such as mental health, substance use, legal issues, chronic disease, suicide prevention, and more, earning up to 26 hours of continuing education credit. The conference provides significant networking opportunities with peers and industry leaders, fostering the exchange of ideas and solutions. Participants will also discover innovative products, technologies, and research relevant to correctional health care. The event is cohosted by the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center and Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office, and includes preconference seminars on the 2026 NCCHC Jail/Prison Health Standards and Mental Health Standards, with an opportunity to take CCHP exams.
