Public Health Improvement Training (PHIT)

Public Health Improvement Training (PHIT) is a national convening focusing on interactive learning and skill-building for professionals at all experience levels. Building on over two decades of collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and national public health organizations, PHIT addresses the critical need for ongoing support, networking, and capacity-building within the performance improvement workforce. PHIT 2026 is dedicated to providing public health professionals with the essential tools and connections to drive performance excellence. The event features hands-on, skill-building workshops and purposeful networking sessions covering key focus areas such as Change Management, Strategic Planning, Communication, Engagement, Partnership Building, Community Health Assessment and Improvement Planning, Quality Improvement, Performance Management, PHAB Accreditation or Reaccreditation, and Workforce Development and Resource Management.
