UMass Transportation Center (UMass Amherst Transportation Center)

UMass Transportation Center (UMTC) is a university-affiliated transportation research and outreach center at the University of Massachusetts that organizes regional traffic and commercial vehicle safety conferences (e.g., Northeast/Eastern Commercial Vehicle Safety Summits in 2022, 2024, and 2026). These events focus on roadway safety, enforcement, crash prevention, and related topics (including sessions relevant to enforcement, crash investigation, and highway safety). UMTC therefore reasonably matches the user intent for a Police - Traffic Safety Conference Organizer for the listed key terms, especially for commercial vehicle safety, highway safety, and enforcement-oriented conferences. It is not primarily a law-enforcement agency but acts as an organizer/host for traffic safety summits aimed at enforcement, crash investigators, and industry.
