National Association of Workforce Development Professionals

The National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) is a national membership organization that advances the workforce development profession through advocacy, training, certification (including the Certified Workforce Development Professional/CWDP), and member networking. NAWDP serves practitioners across the workforce development ecosystem—those who help individuals prepare for, secure, and succeed in employment—and produces national programming such as an annual conference and ongoing certification cohorts. Recent site activity highlights include ongoing CWDP cohorts (e.g., “New CWDPs – December 2025”) and leadership updates (incoming Executive Committee for 2026–2027), and an upcoming 42nd Annual Conference (May 18–20, 2026).
