Missouri Waste Control Coalition Environmental Conference

The Missouri Waste Control Coalition (MWCC) annually sponsors the MWCC Environmental Conference, one of the nation's oldest environmental conferences, running continuously since 1972. The conference brings together a coalition of citizens, businesses, consultants, and regulators concerned with environmental issues, particularly the management and disposal of generated wastes and other environmental concerns. It focuses on technical topics across multiple tracks, including Solid Waste (Collection, Landfill Management, Infrastructure), Environmental Issues (Policy, Ecology, Climate), Brownfields (Redevelopment, Reclaiming Land), Tanks - USTs (Underground Storage, Compliance, Prevention), PFAS (Emerging Contaminants, "Forever Chemicals"), and Recycling (Circular Economy, Materials Management). The event also offers periodic training, educational programs, college scholarships, and an annual awards program.
