"Stronger Together, Greater Impact" on October 26 & 27, 2026, at Grand Traverse Resort in Traverse City, Michigan. This conference attracts 700 attendees, bringing together board members, CEOs, COOs, CFOs, medical directors, clinical directors, case workers, supports coordinators, and children's supervisors from Michigan CMHSPs and Provider Agencies. It also draws strong attendance from others within the public mental health and substance use disorder systems. Objectives include identifying advocacy efforts, spotlighting crisis intervention training and Assisted Outpatient Treatment programs, identifying innovative initiatives to increase access to substance use disorder services, discussing plans to address challenges from federal Home and Community Based Services rules and Managed Care rule changes, furthering state and federal policy initiatives, providing examples of local healthcare integration efforts, focusing on evidence-based practices, using data analytics to improve outcomes, and increasing awareness, knowledge, and skills related to mental illness, developmental disability, substance use disorders, and trauma-informed care.
