About this conference
The New York State Division of Minority and Women’s Business Development has launched the NYS Projects Pop-Up Series, an initiative designed to directly connect local Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) and other small businesses with the companies leading state-affiliated projects that are shaping local communities. Attendees will find supportive resources, meet face-to-face with project decision-makers, learn about upcoming procurement opportunities in New York State, network with project-leading companies looking for local partners, and receive one-on-one technical assistance to help position their business for success. The event also includes presentations from general contractors, resource tables staffed by APEX Accelerators, Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs), Entrepreneurial Assistance Centers (EACs), and ESD's Small Business Division, offering technical assistance on certification, compliance, bonding, financing, and capacity building.
