NC National Fire Academy Weekend 2026

The NC National Fire Academy Weekend is a 2-day on-campus program held at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland. This program is specifically targeted at fire service personnel with a minimum of three years' experience. Most courses offered during the weekend are designed for mid-level officers, though chief officers and firefighters can also benefit. The event aims to strengthen North Carolina's fire service community through comprehensive education, professional networking, and a shared collegial experience, covering topics such as incident management, leadership fundamentals, ethical leadership, organizational problem-solving, operational safety, fire investigation, community risk reduction, and wildland urban interface strategies.
