The National Conference on Ecosystem Restoration (NCER) is an interdisciplinary conference on ecosystem restoration presenting state-of-the-art science and engineering, planning and policy in a partnership environment. NCER brings together decision-makers, scientists, engineers, policy makers, planners, and partners representing government, industry, NGOs, Tribes, and academia, actively involved in ecosystem restoration. NCER 2026 will feature three days of keynote speakers, panel discussions, and presentations focused on multi-scale restoration efforts in terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems across the country. The conference kicks off with a welcome session, highlighting large-scale restoration initiatives. The theme for NCER 2026 is "Return on Investment" in ecosystem restoration for the nation, guiding future planning, funding, and implementation.
