Loitering Munition Systems Summit

The Loitering Munition Systems Summit will convene leading experts, policymakers, acquisition authorities, and innovators to explore the latest advancements and applications in loitering munitions systems and technologies in support of the Warfighter. Discussions at the event will provide valuable insights into the evolving role that drone specific munitions will play in future warfare. The conference will cover topics such as developing loitering munitions technology across the Department of War (DoW), leading acquisition management and policy, accelerating development for enhanced soldier lethality, prioritizing rapid advancement of systems and operational capabilities, advancing loitering munitions through accelerated testing, comparing fixed-wing vs. VTOL platforms, integrating loitering munitions for smaller units, and enabling next-gen strike capabilities. The Summit will also spotlight how the DoW and Military Services are advancing loitering munitions systems through key efforts such as the LASSO program, the Launched Effects program, the Organic Precision Fires program, and other critical technology development pipelines.
