About this conference
The Coalition for Government Procurement is launching 'Invest in Success: Coalition Compliance Training Conference,' the first in a new series of training programs designed to provide government contractors with timely, practical insights on procurement policies, compliance developments, and emerging risks affecting their organizations. This inaugural half-day conference will bring together government, industry, and legal experts to address important compliance issues facing federal contractors. Key topics include 'Procurement in the Age of AI: Ethics & Compliance in a Changing Federal Marketplace,' presented by Jessica Tillipman from The George Washington University Law School, examining AI-related risks across the procurement lifecycle, supply chain, and compliance considerations. Another session, 'Active Bystandership: The Missing Link in Corporate Risk Reduction,' by Jonathan Aronie of Sheppard, will focus on equipping employees to prevent compliance problems. Additionally, a panel on 'Compliance and the Civil False Claims Act' will feature experts from the Department of Justice, Vinson & Elkins, Covington, and Arnold & Porter. Attendees can join either in-person or virtually.
