About this conference
The 11th Specialty Conference focuses on issues related to the Guideline on Air Quality Models. Following the adoption of the November 2024 revisions to the Guideline, members of the air quality modeling field will share their latest research, experience, and thoughts on the state of air quality modeling, as well as ideas for future development and advancements. The event provides in-person opportunities for stakeholders and regulators to discuss challenges and techniques needed to model ever-tightening air quality standards. The technical program includes an opening plenary session with invited presentations by EPA's Office Air Quality Planning and Standards (OAQPS) Air Quality Modeling Group, multiple sessions covering key modeling topics, and a Town Hall Meeting with an interactive Q&A format involving high-level regulators and stakeholders.
