About this conference
The Midwest Leadership Institute is the premier institute for local government organizational leaders. Successful outcomes in local government require a deep understanding of interpersonal leadership, organizational behavior, and self-awareness. This intensive 4.5-day program focuses on practical leadership education, consisting of ten learning pods including lectures, exercises, and team discussions. Topics include leading people, judgment, emotions, power, authority, motivation, influence, managing change, ethical culture, aligning goals, self-awareness, and work-life balance.
