About this conference
The Summer 2026 RTOC meeting will be in-person with virtual sign-in options. Please refer to the draft agenda for virtual meeting links and specific information about in-person meeting locations. Information on hotel reservations are as follows: Tuesday, September 1: TRIBAL CAUCUS (Tribal representatives only) Wednesday, September 2: FULL PLENARY RTOC Thursday, September 3: OPEN DISCUSSION & BREAKOUT SESSIONS. Note: In-person registrants, please be aware of our rules for entering a federal government building. All guests will check in/sign in with the security guards in the main lobby. A valid, real ID-compliant, government issued identification card is required to enter all EPA spaces. All guests will be processed through security screening which includes passing through the Magnetometer. Under General Services Administration rules and Interagency Security Committee standards, weapons and other dangerous items are prohibited in federal facilities. The RTOC's mission is to assist EPA in meeting its federal trust responsibility to federally-recognized Tribes, provide technical support for Tribal Programs, strengthen Tribal environmental and human health programs, enhance EPA's awareness of and timely responsiveness to Tribal needs, and facilitate communication and information exchange between Tribes and EPA.
