About this conference
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is looking for exceptional candidates to fill priority occupations across the Department at its in-person DHS Career Expo, September 1-2, 2026, at the Buffalo Convention Center in Buffalo, NY. Every day, DHS employees are dedicated to securing our borders, enforcing immigration laws, protecting the nation's cyber infrastructure, providing swift disaster relief to Americans, and preventing terrorist threats. By air, land, sea, or in cyberspace, DHS is on the frontline, safeguarding our nation. To accomplish its mission, the Department is seeking the highest caliber workforce to fill a variety of occupations. Attendees will have the chance to engage with DHS recruiters and hiring managers, network with professionals, and attend workshops on the federal hiring process. Qualified candidates may have the opportunity for on-site interviews, testing, and tentative job offers.
