About this conference
A powerful community gathering dedicated to education, remembrance, and Indigenous healing, hosted by the National Native American Boarding School Healing Coalition (NABS). The event honors the children who never returned home from Indian boarding schools and uplifts survivors. It includes a documentary film screening and panel discussion with survivors and community leaders, interactive art and cultural activities, a shared meal, musical performance, and culminates with a candlelight vigil and remembrance walk. The event aims to acknowledge difficult histories, honor Native resilience, cultural strength, community care, and support future generations.
