Cyber Workforce Summit

The Cyber Workforce Summit 2.0, hosted by the Department of War (DoW) CIO with support from AFCEA International and the National Defense University, focuses on "Forging a Qualified Force to Win in Cyberspace." This three-day conference aims to equip the Department of War with a highly skilled cyber workforce. Attendees will gain a clear understanding of the DoW 8140 framework and its implementation, receive insights from senior leaders across USCYBERCOM, DISA, the Joint Staff, and Service CIOs regarding strategic vision and operational priorities. The event will feature innovative technologies and training methodologies from industry and academic partners, along with a live Cyber Workforce Competition where leaders from U.S. Service Academies and Senior Military Colleges will demonstrate advanced cyber tactics. This summit provides a unique opportunity to learn directly from DoW and Service leadership and subject matter experts on the path toward cyber workforce readiness in the information environment.
