About this conference
The CIT Symposium is NAMI Wisconsin's annual gathering for law enforcement professionals, mental health advocates, community partners, and co-responders to come together and strengthen our statewide commitment to compassionate crisis response. Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) programs are built on strong partnerships between law enforcement, mental health providers, individuals with mental illness, and their families. The CIT Symposium serves as a platform to learn from one another, celebrate progress, and share strategies for improving outcomes when responding to mental health crises. The 2026 CIT Symposium will take place at the Wisconsin Hotel in the Wisconsin Dells from Tuesday, June 2 through Thursday, June 4. Each day is a stand-alone event, and attendees are welcome to pick and choose the day(s) that are most relevant to their role and interests. You do not need to attend all three days to participate.
