CBP Innovation Summit Day

U.S Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Innovation Team (INVNT), intends to host a symposium with industry to foster discussion, share insights, and accelerate innovation regarding the use of autonomous and physical systems to enhance CBP's mission. This virtual event, structured with a keynote speaker, panel discussion, and lightning talk sessions, aims to inform and engage industry partners on CBP’s strategic interests in autonomous systems, particularly as they relate to border security and operational efficiency. The summit will highlight CBP INVNT’s upcoming Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) Pilot: CSOP-BP-GS-26-0002, focusing on Autonomous Ground Surveillance Vehicles (AGSV). Key topics include: the future of autonomous systems in advancing the CBP mission (including AI and ML for enhanced situational awareness, threat detection, and operational efficiency); accelerating autonomous ground surveillance solutions for border security (emphasizing persistent, wide-area detection, improved response times, and agent safety); and navigating procurement and innovative pathways for emerging technologies, leveraging agile acquisition strategies and partnerships.
